Cocoy McCoy is a songwriter and performer who has been featured on the FOX American Idol TV show and has worked as a background vocalist for such artists as the legendary Stevie Wonder. After his first performance opened for the legendary Ray Charles at the age of 19, McCoy was quickly recognized as one of Washington, D.C.'s next great talents. Since then he has performed on stages across the country and has performed on numerous television programs including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and BET's 106 & Park. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA with his wife Shondeeka, their daughter Kia Marie, their son Christos L., and two dogs.
